Our son loves this car!

We love this car. Our son loves it and lights up every time we take it out for play/ to incorporate in our family walks. This car is very solid and well made. I also love the bright color (red) that we chose. We gave this to our son for his first Birthday, as something that he could grow into, and now a few months later he has really started to love it. As a parent of 3 children, 4 years old and younger, another things that I just love about this car, is that all 3 of our kids can use it. I love the varied recommended age range on this car, and with the Step2 brand's quality, I am sure that this will last long enough for everyone to enjoy, for years to come! I highly recommend this product to other parents of little ones!

Fun for little ones

Thank you to Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 toy tester program.I was very pleased to be accepted to try out the Step2 turbo coupe foot to floor car with my kids. Overall I would recommend this to children who are small or average in size and under 5.Pros:Very appealing for young children. Both of my kids wanted to drive as soon as they saw the car.The horn is easy to "honk".Turns easily on carpet.Has a foot plate that allows younger children to ride in the car while an adult pushes.Cons:Extremely frustrating to assemble. Although the directions listed tools required, we had to use a drill to make some of the holes during assembly. If we didn't already own a drill I'm not sure I could have assembled this without my husband to help. One other aspect of the assembly that was very difficult was hammering a cap onto the small front wheel. The force required to actually get the cap to stay on the bolt was excessive. In the end it did get assembled correctly, but that is mainly because I gave up and had my husband do it.Another ding against this car is the low profile and distance between the seat and the ground. My 2.5 year old is tall and has to take many tiny steps to move the car, as his knees are bunched up near the dash.Lastly if I would add anything to the car it would be a seatbelt strap. This would come in handy when using the foot plate and punching the smaller children so that they don't fall out. The doors don't come up super high, so the added safety feature would be appreciated.

Easy to assemble and my grandson who is 3 years 4 months old loves it even if it is a tight fit for him. He is 39-1/2 inches tall and there really isn't enough leg room for him to move very fast but he still jumps in and plays. My 4 month old grandson will grow into it so I didn't return it. I wish it had lights or a siren.

Great Ride On. Bought this for my grandsons 1st birthday. He's enjoying immensely. Quality is superb. Only thing we did was to create "door handles "out of extra decals.

This toy car is the cutest! From the squeak horn, down to the door that actually locks! We did have issues getting the bolt to stay in place where the wheel under the car goes, and difficulty putting the cap on it. However, it was well worth it to see my babies eyes light up. I love the fact the back has a bar on it for parents to be able to push their babies around, and I also like the fact the floor board is removable allowing them to play with it a little longer after their tiny legs become too long. The steering wheel also turns adding to the imagination.
