Awesome coaster, my kids love it!

It took me about 1.5hrs to set the coaster up but once it was done my kids loved it. they play on it everyday now.

This coaster has gotten loads of use every day since we got it. It's very well built and so much fun. My kids are 6,5,3,1 and they all love it. Even the one year old goes down the coaster and the older 2 will not outgrow it any time soon. They also love just climbing up and down and rolling hot wheels down the ramp. They want to invite friends over to ride it and it's always a hit. Would definitely recommend!

What a THRILL!!!

As a parent to both a typically developing child and to one with special needs, I sometimes struggle finding toys/activities that stimulate both children. So what a privilege it has been to test the new Hot Wheels Extreme Thrill Coaster from Step2. Where was this toy when I was a kid?! I can at least live vicariously through my 5 and 2.5 year old who are THRILLED with this coaster and simply can't get enough! Our backyard has quickly become THE spot for fun-having in our neighborhood. My daughter, who is 2.5 and cannot walk has found her own way of joining in to play, too! The age recommendation is 3+ so we put her in the cart on the bottom hill of the coaster and hold on to it as she goes down. She didn't know what to think of it at first but it didn't take long for her to laugh and the rest is sensory history. My daughter will sometimes pull up to stand and cruise but hasn't mastered walking independently, so I look for toys/activities that help to ignite her vestibular system and this coaster delivers! I can always depend on Step2 toys to not only capture but maintain my children's attention. What I love about this coaster besides how much joy it brings my family is the quality of its materials. The coaster is very sturdy and I don't worry at all about its construction. Another added feature are its stairs. My son can ride the cart down then climb the stairs while pushing the cart up the track back to the top without any assistance. The carts front wheels also roll into grooves on top of the platform which prevent the cart from from descending on its own. Another great safety feature is the platform surround which has a high back and side walls... My son has to hold on to the side walls and give them a good tug to begin his ride down. It took about 1.5 hours to assemble and the instructions were very easy to follow. Thank you to Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 toy tester program.

We got this coaster for my kids to use at their grandparent's house and it has been a BIG hit. While the instructions are easy, it will probably take you about an hour to assemble this coaster and it's helpful to have at least 2 people for the job. Unlike the Up and Down Coaster which breaks down easily for storage, the Hot Wheels Extreme Thrills Coaster is bolted together, so you probably won't want to move it often.The coaster has built-in steps, making it easy for kids to push the car up all by themselves (thank goodness for that!). The track is 14 feet long, including a little hill towards the end that my kids really seem to enjoy. My kids didn't have any issues falling out of the car or off of the coaster, but it is recommended that children wear helmets at all times while using the coaster. Since the coaster has a weight limit of 75 pounds, I know my kids will be able to enjoy it for quite a while!My kids are thrilled with the coaster and spend more time playing outside because of it. I think it might be their favorite Step2 toy yet!

Sure, the Hot Wheels Extreme Thrill Coaster definitely looked cool online, but wow - in person/ once set up, it EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS! This coaster is AMAZING and perfect for little kids. We have a 2 year old and a 3 year old and they both absolutely LOVE this thing.It is extremely well made, safe, fun and the kids don't ever seem to get bored with it. It is a great way to get outside and play and let the kids go wild right in your own backyard. I really cannot say enough good things about this coaster... It is large, so you do have to have some outdoor space, but if you do it is a perfect backyard toy for the kids! Both of ours beg to go outside and "go on coaster!" :) This has already been at the center of several nights in the backyard as a family with the kids being all smiles. AWESOME product. Thank you to Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 toy tester program!

My 2 yo absolutely loves this!! He asks to go play on it every day. By the time we got it set up, he had figured out how to push his car up the ramp by himself. It only took 3 rides before he was completely self sufficient and could push the car to the top, and get in and go all by himself.Caution: do not let the ride on it if the tracks are even a little wet. We had a rainstorm come through and although I had removed the debris off the track the little bit of water in the low spots still caused issue. It caused the car to slightly shift to the side as he was riding down and my son flipped out. Luckily no injury (we do not let him ride without a helmet on). But this is something I will keep in mind any time we ride.
