All around great coaster! The steps on the track are a great way for the children to push the car up to the top themselves and hop on.

I purchased this for my 3 years old grandson. My 2 year old granddaughter loves it and is able to push the car back up to the top. It's great the way you built the steps into the slide. Will recommend this to others!

Great upgrade from the Step2 Up and Down Roller Coaster

I received this item as part of the Step2 Brand Ambassador program. All opinions are my own.Prior to this coaster, we had the Step2 Up and Down Roller Coaster. This Hot Wheels Extreme Thrill Coaster is an upgrade from the smaller coaster for us. Even though my boys are three, they had already outgrown the smaller coaster. This Extreme Thrill Coaster is great for them! It is the same roller coaster concept, but with the additional "bump" at the end, it adds to the excitement level. They take turns riding and squealing! I also have an older daughter who enjoys it, as well.The assembly is bulky, howbeit not difficult. Assembly is definitely a two person job. It is not too heavy, so it can be moved (by two people) after assembly. The child uses the stairs in the center of the roller coaster track to walk the coaster car back up to the top. They then back into the car and push themselves off with their hands on the sides. Make sure that you have at least 6-7 feet at the end of the track for the child to ride in the grass.The toy has been durable so far, and we are looking forward to many years of use out of it. I am excited to have all the kids try it out over the summer during cookouts and parties!
