Powerful, Easy to Use, Quick Clean-up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Braun’s PureMix 56 oz Power Blender was designed with much forethought into design and usable features. The blender has powerful capabilities that will crush, liquify and blend with ease, making a smoothie in seconds. There are several settings on the control panel: two speeds (low and max), smoothie, and pulse. I predominantly make smoothies/protein shakes and find I frequently utilize a combination of max speed, smoothie, and pulse settings, depending on the ingredients blended. The blender lid includes a removable measuring cap as well as a drip hole that allows you to add liquids during operation.
Cleaning your blender thoroughly is important to maintaining the appliance and preventing mold and bacteria growth. Braun designed this blender to disassemble completely with little effort. With a simple twist, the locking ring at the bottom of the pitcher can be removed, releasing the blade assembly. The blade assembly and pitcher lid each have a gasket that can be removed prior to washing. These gaskets will trap in bacteria and mold if not cleaned, and I appreciate a quick gasket removal and replacement. Except for the blade, all detachable parts are dishwasher safe (sans the sanitation cycle, as it can damage the parts). The blade should be hand-washed in hot, soapy water, then rinsed and dried. A quick wipe around the power cord and motor body completes the cleaning.
The assembled blender is a perfect fit under my cabinet. I have enough clearance to pull the pitcher from the motor body without hitting my upper cabinet, something at which my previous blender failed. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the blender’s features and capabilities and I look forward to the many smoothies and other yummies that will be enjoyed by my myself, my family, and my friends.

Great Blender!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My absolute favorite feature on this blender is the smoothie cycle button, it takes all the guess work out of blending and creates a great smoothie every time. I also like how all the parts come off for easy cleaning, though with my first use I didn't realize the bottom came off and created quite a mess when my smoothie spilled out of the bottom while trying to take the jug off of the base. Great recipes included in the instruction manual as well.

Big and bulky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening the blender it took me a few minutes to assemble. I found it difficult to find a spot for it on my counter because it would not fit under my cabinets. It is huge! Even though it get the job done, it is no better than the ninja that I already owned.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for smoothies and salsas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this simple yet sturdy blender. I’m trying to get all my fruits and veggies in and this blender makes it possible! It has two blend settings and a pulse to get those chunky bits.
This blender is easy to take apart and clean- dishwasher safe- and the blade is removable!
This isn’t a bulky super heavy blender - it’s powerful yet light. The noise level is decent for a blender. This will be great in the summer for drinks and everyday smoothies.
I have used this for soup, salsa, and smoothies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender is incredible. The 1000 watt motor makes easy work of ice for my smoothies! Just load it up and use the needed speed to get yourself a great smoothie everytime. The size is just right for my kitchen and the 56 oz. Pitcher is large enough for anything I wish to blend or puree. Easy to clean and dishwasher safe is another plus. Takes very little time to clean and works as great today as it did when I first used it. Our family has enjoyed making different flavor fruit smoothies and we can't wait to try blending other stuff!

Powerful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I primarily use this blender for smoothies. I needed a larger vessel to make smoothies for more than one person at a time. This Braun PureMix is powerful, and since the carafe is plastic, it's lightweight. I also don't have to be afraid of breaking it in the sink when I rinse it out. It quickly blends the fruits and veggies that I add, and is easy to use and clean. The 1000 W of power are awesome, and make quick work of a daily task. Great product from a trusted brand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this blender almost daily for my morning smoothie. There are so many great features. There is a small measuring cup that is on the lid. The handle is my absolute favorite. I always worry about dropping full pitchers but I can comfortably grip the handle. It's super simple to use and really easy to clean especially after making a mess.

We love that is 56oz which is large enough for our family. We make smoothies, milkshakes and frozen slushees. All the parts are easy to take apart and dishwasher safe. It’s not too loud.
