The unit does a great job as far as I can tell. I've had to change the Pre-Filter after just a few months and had trouble keeping the unit's arms open while doing so. Even though they opened, I heard the snap, they would still slide back as I tried to get the pre-filter removed and the new one inserted. I followed all directions but this was the only problem I ran into. It's a minor issue but frustrating when you have arthritis in your hands and trying to work getting this completed.

There is a programmable timer built into the system interface that you can use to automate when your purifier to turn on/off. We recommend using the free IQAir AirVisual app to monitor air quality in your area and decide the best times to to run the system. The app also has a 72-hour air quality history and forecast so that you can plan when you want to time the purifier to turn on/off.
You can also use the IQAir AirVIsual Pro air quality monitor, a smart plug, and If This Then That (IFTTT) applets to set up custom air quality alert algorithms that will turn your GC MultiGas on and off depending on actual air quality measurements from our professional-grade PM2.5 sensors. This type of automation is easy to set up and completely hands-off once you set up the plug and applets with air pollution thresholds.

Most air purifiers that contain "air quality sensors" use cheap sensors that are too small and simplistic in design to be truly effective at accurately measuring air quality. I suffer from extreme indoor allergies, let alone what ever else was bothering me inside of my house.
I bought this unit in desperation hoping that it would bring me some relief.
I am so pleased with this product!
I run it 90 percent of the time. When I come in from being outside, my home smells clean and fresh. I no longer sneeze frequently, and my eyes don’t water all of the time.
The unit is easy to move from one room to another, as it has rollers on it.
I take it from my main living area to my bedroom at night.
It really has changed my health and quality indoors greatly.
I would encourage others to try this and see what a difference it makes-especially in the winter when the furnace is running/blowing who knows what into the air.
