Many Happy Returns

I have used TT for many years preparing returns for a LLC. The federal part is very easy to complete. The State however, not so much. Instead of pointing out the error as the federal review does, the state review basically displays your answers and tells you to look at each entry to verify the information and it did this three times. I must have corrected everything by the fourth try because I successfully filed my return after that TT error review. Great product overall!
What's great about it: Fast, step by step instructions and helps you locate information on prior returns, even if you did not use it last year
What's not so great: Federal File: None State File: Can be confusing

I love the product. I wish I could pay all taxes with return and not have to mail some (Trust return)

Turbo Tax Business

When I file my personal taxes I am able to down load 1099 Int and Div from my financial institutions. This software can do the same. Not sure why it does not
What's great about it: Easy to use Integrated state filing
What's not so great: Unable to import LLC 1099 from investment companies like in personal filing
Pros: I bought or sold investments, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

1120S Business Taxes Done, Yay!

The best thing about Turbo-Tax is it helped me learn to do our taxes by myself.
This is the 4th year I've done our S-Corp Business Taxes. Each year it seems like Turbo-Tax takes me further into the world of taxes. This year the instructions for Schedule L seemed different from previous years. Luckily this is a schedule not required by the IRS, because I could not figure out what I was doing wrong. Maybe next year.
I'll be back for 2019!

What's great about it: Everything is condensed into easy questions to follow.
What's not so great: I'm not an accountant, so sometimes the explanations don't make sense to me.

First Time with Turbotax Business

This was my first time with Turbotax Business. While much was familiar, the program was a bit rougher than regular Turbotax - i.e. I needed to dig a while to find what I wanted. Worst was when my return was rejected by the IRS because it didn't include Form 8453-PE which is essential for a partnership return. Shouldn't Turbo have caught that? But a fix was made and now that part of the program works much better. In the end, I'll use again.
What's great about it: Familiar Turbotax format

Another Year Successful

I've yet to find a flaw in Turbo Tax. Each year this product reeducates me on income taxes. It keeps all of my old information in the "supporting documents" pages, so I can recreate my events year in and year out. Turbo Tax should just replace the IRS...
What's great about it: Year-to-year always spot on!
What's not so great: Too many competitors
