Solid sport watch focused on device oriented athle

Received as gift. More complex than I need and did not come with set up instructions. Has everything a training athlete needs and more. Worst feature - very dim face.

Big and bulky with tiny muted screen

Just got the watch and was hoping to be super impressed. While getting a bigger case doesn't translate into getting a bigger screen. On the videos and promotional material the screens look vivid and easily can be seen when working out but the screen on the one I received is muted... the reds are a dull red and other colors are the same way making it hard to see unless you have the backlight at 100% and at that they still are not that great. Maybe I got one that is bad but so far not impressed. I read they are coming out with a new version of this watch this year and I hope for as pricey as this watch is that they fix the issues. I am not sure I would be able to see the maps with the current screen size and the dull screen colors. I love Garmin products and hoping to get this one returned and buy something else until the new version comes out.

Phenomenal features!!!

Bought a few weeks ago after researching for nearly a year! Had Apple 1,2,3 smart watches, but Garmin is the GPS God in tracking all my athletics. I have the 51mm and I’m a man with a man wrist definitely not bulky. The features are great and to work the watch is very easy. After having open heart surgery, I opt to get my fitness in order, this time piece is amazing and helping me every step of the way. Even in the Florida sun no heavy glare on the screen! This is beautiful!
