Being in AFSOC this watch is hands down the best. Everyone in my unit has one, and we've been using this style of watch exclusively since the fenix 3. I've used mine in some of the harshest conditions In every corner all across world. Only continent I have yet to traverse is Antarctica.

Best Fitness and all around watch

I've used a Fitbit, Apple Watch, and now the Garmin 5X Plus. Hands down this is the best fitness and activity tracker, GPS, and smart watch!
It tracks everything, steps, floors climbed, distance, sleep, HR, and Oxygen. Works seamlessly with the Garmin Connect where you can modify the contents, music, watch faces, widgets, and specific data points. Mapping, way points, workout routes etc. all tracked from the watch. Highly recommend it!!

TL;DR: Expensive, yes, but worth every penny for all the features and long battery life under normal conditions.
This has quickly become my daily driver and, when paired with the Garmin Connect app, helped me reign in my health data way better than the several devices I was using before. I'm on track to hit 400 miles of running this year (I barely hit 200 in years prior), I've shaved weight, stayed in motion at work more with reminders to MOVE, seen gains in productivity using the Pomodoro method app (free!) and much much more. Having a silent alarm on my wrist has reduced the number of snooze-hits (and wife hits when my alarm goes and goes) and it's just generally the best investment I've made (since getting married and buying a house). For more running data I've picked up the Running Pod and that's helped track my cadence better, especially when pushing a stroller (BOB Ironman).
Runners, yogis, swimmers, bikers of skinny and wide tires, skiers, hikers, hunters, travelers, and generally anyone who likes being active will appreciate this wrist computer (let's be honest) and see gains by using it to full potential. The fact that the lens material is so strong (I've smacked it against kettlebells) is yet another selling point - try smacking kettlebells against an Apple Watch!

Great watch with solid and fairly customizable features. Great for fitness tracking and as a wrist mounted GPS. Large on the wrist (which works great for me).

Great watch excellent battery life! I loved this watch so much I got the new model as well. The newer LED full color screen is incredible but the battery life is much better on this watch.
