Amazing!

This is my first Garmin product and I couldn’t be more happy. I’ve had Apple Watch for the last few years so I didn’t really know what I was getting into with switching but the fenix 5x plus has not disappointed yet. The best thing so far is the battery life. I love not having to charge it every other day. I’m sure it’s only going to get better and I’m going to like it even more as time goes by.

I received this for Christmas and it's changed my workout and day to day experience. I would carry my phone for runs and bike rids, hiking, etc. I don't have to do that anymore and I get so many analytics is crazy cool! It's stylish and highly customizable which is really great.

Almost perfect.

Coming from a fenix2 I was blown away by how fast the fenix5X+ connected to GPS signals. The battery lasts weeks and I have been very impressed with the full colour map and sensor info like heartrate and VO2 max. I use this watch on military exercises to show my MGRS/compass/time info and it has done great in this role.
The only complaint I've had so far has been with music. When connected to my bluetooth headphones the music always plays at full volume and changing the volume on the watch has no effect. This might be due to my off-brand headphones, but the controls work fine when paired with my cellphone so it is at least partially the watch.

Overall this product is amazing it is a little old now but it is still well worth it. It looks like the day I bought it due to the sapphire. The gps is very accurate and reliable. The biggest issue for me is the size it is quite large in the bezel making it look a little funny for a person with small wrists

Daily Watch and activity logging champion

I use this watch to track and log: biking, hiking, backcountry backpacking tracks and swimming. Everything is so consistent and user friendly, I love the data it puts out and the interface on my phone. I've used it for 3 years now and I'll be upgrading to the 7x soon.
the one feature I would improve is the open water swim, sometimes it has trouble picking me up off shore.
