After 2 weeks of constance use getting ready for a federal law enforcement PFT, I couldn't be happier. I have only scratched the surface of the watch's abilities, but I already know that I can never go back to any smartwatch.

Love my Garmin Fenix 5x Plus

Got it last Tuesday. Only charged it to 96% right out if the box. Still at 20% charge at the time of this post. I’ve been a “watch guy” for years. Have the Speedmaster and several Hamilton’s, along with my share of G-Shocks. This Fenix 5x Plus is my favorite. Never thought I’d go with something I had to recharge until now. Still won’t ever go with the ever-so populist Apple Watch. Wife and numerous friends have it and you can’t go more than maybe 36 hours before having to recharge it. I’ve already gone running and swimming with my new Fenix 5x Plus several times now. I work as a flight nurse. I checked out the altimeter the other day. AGL altimeter was “off” by maybe 50-80 feet - but, DISCLAIMER - we were moving at around 130 MPH (ground speed) over terrain that changed every couple hundred yards. So spot on in my book. Love the GPS tracking feature. I’ve turned the power off twice at night. I plan on recharging it tomorrow to 100%. It’s awesome.

Highly customizable

A great watch that does not require charging every day or two and is highly customizable. I had a Fennix 3 HR before and with this watch again find the owner's manual hard to digest because of how it is laid out, not because of the content. This is an easily correctable problem. Otherwise, I could not be more pleased with the watch and its features.

Excellent Watch

I have had the watch for about a month now and am very satisfied even though I have not used all the features and activities. At first I was reluctant to buy it given the hefty price tag but couldn't imagine working out without it.

My new Fenix replaces the one I donated to some deserving soul at the river. Going back this weekend to leave them the charger. Product is awesome or I wouldn’t be the proud owner of a second. It’s loaded with great features, and I like being able to have music with no phone or other device on my runs.
