Not as user friendly for newbies

As a newbie to the Garmin family I was excited to get my Fenix 5x plus. I found it hard to navigate through the screens, hopefully this will get better as I am able to use it more. (I’ve only had it 2 days) One very disappointing feature is the oxygen sat monitor. No current uploads to Garmin connect so the data is on the watch only and cannot be incorporated into workout statistics. Very disappointed in this. I was really looking forward to know how well my exertion with controlled breathing affects my saturation. I guess if the selling point to choose this expensive gps watch with data over your other choices is the saturation feature, surely you can figure out a way to upload the data

Will be better if the display has more real colors, the black color has more deep black.

I am amazed that the fenix 5x Plus can measure my heart rate continuously for almost three weeks! The SpO2 (blood oxygen) feature when I am at elevation is also really cool. My son lives in Colorado, loves to hike and ski, so I will have to get him one for Christmas!

Have had a week and still on a learning curve . Wish I could find how water proof it is?
Response from GarminBy Enrique, Golf, August 20, 2018
Hi Erik7, Thanks for the review. We do strive to provide many quality features with our Fenix 5X Plus. The waterproof rating is set at 10 ATM, which allows this device to be suitable for use for anything aside from scuba diving. https://www.garmin.com/en-US/legal/waterrating

Only had it a week and I've found it very easy to learn and use. Tons of features and in only a week I wouldn't want to be without it.
