It's new so it looks great and works well However.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 20 year old range with this new one. It is so painfully obvious that this new range will never reach the ripe old age of 20. The quality of construction and materials used are so far below the old one, it is simply sad and heartbreaking. We purchased because it was made in America. Whirlpool has been manufacturing kitchen appliances for many many years, and it is obvious that quality has given way to cost containment and planned obsolescence. Like so many other industries they are no longer in the "appliance business", they are in the profit business. Sad day in America.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to purchase all Whirlpool appliances when building our new home. I am sad to say there are a couple of things about this range that I am with which I am disappointed. I was not aware that the burners cycle on and off while cooking. I do not like that this causes it to take longer to cook foods. However, the most disappointing feature Is the drawer on the bottom. #1 it is much smaller than my previous range, and #2 the edges inside the top where you pull the drawer out are very sharp! It would be so easy to cut your fingers if you aren’t very careful when opening the drawer. Aslo, this bottom drawer does not roll out and in smoothly. Based on these two things, I would not buy this range again. I regret I could not give a better review.

It's OK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered this in early December for Christmas and got it on the 30th. Thank goodness it was late because we would have had a hard time cooking and baking before Christmas. We have been using it for over a month and cannot seem to get the the right temps for cooking.It takes longer to cook and bake than our old stove. We are somewhat disappointed with our purchase. All the research indicated that this is a good product.

3 Months in and the oven light has failed already!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I decided to go with a renown company like Whirlpool because of the perceived quality of their products. Made in America attracted us to these products knowing the pride most Americans, that I have met, have in their workmanship, but disappointment is setting in as the oven light has failed after just three months use. If something as basic as the oven light fails in just three month, what other major failures will we face as the months drag on. Our excitement has turned to dread.

Ineffective heating capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not satisfied with this product.I bought this range 2 months ago but one of the the main problems is that it does not distribute the heat uniformly over the glass top. You can feel the excessive heat when standing near the range but that heat fails to effectively reach the pots/pans placed on the glass top. As a result, it takes too long to heat anything and often requires "high" heat setting.

NOT THE SAME STOVE OF TEN YEARS AGO

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like the range but the size seems less than when I bought a Whirlpool approximately 10 years ago. A stove, is a stove, is a stove. The range wire panels are flimsy.. The electronic system over rides the timer. The notification of the time or temperature program, applied for what you are baking etc is less audible.
The glass top is poorly designed.. It bakes ok....otherwise a cheap set up!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
