Great stove for our needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a 40+ year old magic chef stove finally! The Amana is the perfect fit for our very small beach cottage. Stovetop heats quickly. Haven’t tried the oven yet other than to heat something but it seems to work well. We are very happy with the purchase! I gave a 4 only because this is a basic stove- no bells or whistles.

it came with the apartment we are renting, there was no manual, or the landlord didnt leave it. i was wondering if the top lifts to clean inside? also is there any way i could order the rack that belong in the oven? works just great ! and it is easy to clean and light enough to move so i can clean around it, love it!

Nice little range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this stove. It works well. The cook top heats quickly and evenly. Do be sure to turn on your hood fan the first time you use the oven. And you might want to briefly turn off your smoke alarm. The instruction book does say to expect an odor or some smoke when using it the first time. It didn't smoke but halfway into the baking time it did give off an odor that set the smoke alarm off, but I was expecting it. Other than that the oven works well. My food was evenly cooked. I especially like having the oven light and window. The knobs are on the front so it wouldn't really be something you'd want if you have small children.
