Great Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only had this stove for a couple weeks now, but we Love it. The oven cooks great and much faster than our old stove. The top burners are also good. I love that there is a Red Warning even after the burners are off that lets you know the top is still hot. The oven light comes on automatically when you open the oven door and makes viewing any food you are cooking much easier. The Stainless and Black brings a really fresh new look to our kitchen than our old White stove did. So glad we purchased this stove. We just know that a smooth top one we would end up breaking. We love having the regular coil burners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this range for a few days now and used everything except the self clean setting. Everything is working just fine so far. Looks great in my older kitchen. Little confused on using the oven timer because the instructions are not clear but I'm sure I'll get it worked out. I opted for the coil type because I like to cook with cast iron skillets and our house is all electric. Would buy again if it continues to work as well as it does now. The bottom drawer could be a little sturdier.

I bought it to replace a 1951 Thrifty thirty which had worn out. The Amana looks to give easy access for repairs that may be needed. It is easy to use...so far anyway. The range top burner elements heat up quickly and put out more heat than I expected. The digital display shows a red text message when a burner is turned on and also advised it the range top might be hot from a range top burner operating. Summarizing...the range does the job. I don't know how durable the appliance will be.
