Great even cooking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old stove was going out and we looked at several different new ones and brands. This ended up being better than we expected. It cooks evenly and burners heat up quickly. Example being I cooked a pot of spaghetti noodles last night in under 10 minutes. My old stove took half an hour. The oven is great and I love the pre-set temps. I won't hesitate to by other Amana appliances in the future.

Less than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a Kenmore Range I had for over 20 years with the Amana. I am extremely disappointed in the cook top burners. If you turn them on high after only a very short time (not enough to even boil a medium pot of water) they automatically shut off and it takes forever for them to heat back up. I would NEVER purchase this stove again!! Not worth half of what I paid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

new stove replacemnet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stove is great, heats up fast and easy to clean, replaced the glass top stove that was 3 years old that I hated. I will never own another glass top stove. This one is very efficient and easy to clean. Heats up rather quickly and the oven is very large.

Don’t buy if you want constant heat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my old stove and I was recommended that I try this manufacturer, bad idea. No constant heat because of the built in thermostat on the coils. No one mentioned this at the time of purchase and now I have another expense to replace it with another stove. It’s sad when your electric griddle holds a higher heat than your actual stove.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
