Great Range, Except....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range is working fine with one exception. Durning the first week of using the range I noticed that when I use it the display will show a red message stating that the heating elements are Hot. Which is fine, but after a week of usage that message stays on the screen even when the elements are off and completly cool. I found nothing in the basic manual that came with the range. Other than seeing a message that the stove top elements are Hot ALL THE TIME even when they are not, the range is working fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Appealing But.......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok do I bought this stove about a month ago. The stove itself is very appealing for the price and features offered. But I just can't get used to the burners. I wish they were flat instead of the metal piece that sets in the middle. My pots and pans always seem crooked when using. Also the set up of the burners seem to be for a left handed person to me. Front left should be small, back left should be large, right front should be large and back right should be small. Just my thoughts. If I had it to do over again I would go with another model or brand. Sorry Amana nice but just not my cup of tea.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our propane company called and said they were picking up our tank as we weren't using enough. ?? So we bought this electric stove. We like the knobs on top, because our dogs tend to jump up in search of food tidbits and had accidentally turned on the propane burners a couple times. The only thing we didn't like was when you turn a burner on 1/2 way, you couldn't easily tell which burner was on. I fixed that by adding white paint dots on the knobs as in the picture. Two or three times my said "I like our new stove" which is really saying something as we do not like to cook.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading about the potential danger of gas stoves we replaced it with this Amana range. Couldn’t be happier. This range heats fast and hot and the oven cooks everything perfectly. Very pleased with this stove. No complaints.
