Works fine, but could use some design improvements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The over and range to work fine. There was not much of a users manual that came with it or online ( that I could find ). An annoyance is that you can not see the timer and the oven temp simultaneously. The broiler is described by temp rather than intensities ( 1 - 5 for example ). I am not sure if 500deg is a high broiler or moderate setting. The black top shows the slightest bit of grease, etc. Finally, the drawer feels a bit flimsy compared to our 30 year old Amana.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed Not self-cleaning

Great stove!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stove a few months ago and I love it! I like that the stove lights up a warning "cooktop on" and "cooktop is hot" when a burner is on. I have made numerous pots of pasta and I haven't had any problems with the burners not getting hot enough to boil water or that they shut off before hand like other reviewers have had. There is no mention in the booklet or online of the springy middle on each burner, but I did read in a review that it's a safety feature and when a burner is on with no pan on it, it automatically turns off. I haven't tried it, so not sure, but it makes sense.
The oven pre-heats pretty quickly and it shows the temperature as it's pre-heating, which is nice, but there is no oven light when you open the door. You actually have to turn it on. The pre-set temperature settings come in handy too. The storage drawer holds 6 of my pans and 6 lids with no problem. I really like my stove!

Does the job!

Good basic range
