THIS IS A HORRIBLE RANGE/OVEN

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] what a horrible oven this is..it came brand new in a house i purchased..because it has temperature limiting burners,i cant even boil a pot of water for pasta because the burner wont stay on high for more than 5 minutes before it shuts itself off..the oven broiler element does the same thing.i cant even broil a steak to get it crispy.as far as the steel/tin element housing pieces that the element sit in,:make sure you never burn anything like i did with having some tea with milk boil over..it permenently stained the metal.even with repeated scrubbing with bleach and a scratch pad,the stain wont come out..this is the worst oven./stove ive ever had.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Heats up quickly

The electric coils heat up way faster than our previous stove that was a smooth glass top - I don't remember what brand that stove was. We love this new stove with the electric coils for cooking. Perfect for our big family where we tend to cook a lot of big meals.

The safety features are a pain in the butt

Amana 30* electric range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prefer the smooth top over the burners which cannot be cleaned so they don't look old and dirty. Everything else is ok. Burners heat quickly and I especially love the fact there are 2 red lights: one says, burners are on and the other says hot stove. It's nice to know when the burners are TURNED OFF!

Defective Amana Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stove has a manufacturer defect and under extended warranty having difficult time getting manufacturer to look at. There is something stuck inside oven door that was manufactured inside. Haven't used the oven yet until looked at. Appt was for Dec. 19, 2022. No one showed. Was told I would be rescheduled and still have not been. Very disappointed. Stove purchased November 16, 2023.
