[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a double oven 40inch 1950 stove so it was a lot to live up to. I am adjusting and find this stove to be easy to retrain myself to. Wish it had self cleaning and needs a matching hood vent!

One star due to the Oven Door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought app 3 months ago. Contacted c/s two weeks after delivery. The oven door closes quite nicely on one side but gapes on the other. Really expected them to offer to replace the range, but the service technician said they would not do that. The oven seals ok, even though visually it doesn’t look closed right, we’ll one side does. So after 3 visits now, last one today the technician has replaced various parts of the door. I had asked why they wouldn’t just replace the whole oven door. He said they wouldn’t do that. While it is a little better, it still gapes. The technician feels it’s probably the hinges within the stove and they just don’t make things like they used too. Things are made cheaper he said. I would agree with that.
So I give up. Can’t recommend Amana. Sadly functionally it works fine, but visually is majorly lacking. See pics

Great features and easy cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love my new Amana range. The oven bakes evenly and all the stove top coils (eyes) are perfectly balanced. It is an easy clean up with a damp cloth and it is beautiful. I have small children in the home and the oven door doesn't get hot so no accidental burns on little fingers.

good features/turns off too often while cooking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the idea of all the safety features but it turns the heat off while I’m still cooking on the stovetop every time I cook. It’s frustrating to have to turn it off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on, when I’m in the middle of 50 other things going on in my kitchen.
