Expected Better Quality

As a collector, I personally expected better quality from Signature Collection Holiday 30th Edition - Barbie. It was disappointing that the doll body mold pose is just meant to stay perfect in the box and on the stand. It was made of cheap plastic with a sexy hip & one knee bent pose, nothing like the earlier versions in the 1990s. The dress was a basic red tulle sewed on clothing lining. Although it lacked in quality; the doll maintained beautiful facial features, stylish shoes & painted nails. In the future it would be great to see the company improve the manufacturing quality especially on special editions. Please bring back, the ability to bend the dolls knees and better materials for dresses. If you want little girls to become collectors in the future, please bring them quality dolls at a fair price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful keepsake Barbie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie was given to my granddaughter through the play, rate, review program. Ella loves how pretty the holiday doll is. She opened it and plays as if the Barbie is the Queen of all her other barbies. She has had it about 10 days now and has played with her at least 8 of the ten. Everything is holding up, accessories too. Good quality.

Beautiful Dolls

I have been buying the Holiday Barbie since they started making them in 1988.It
is the only thing that I collect , every year I have to get one,sometimes I have ended up with more then1of a year because my daughter gets one as a gift for Christmas. They are so beautiful! I also get the Special Celebration Barbies.

Beautiful holiday Barbie

WOW! SHE'S BEAUTIFUL!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! SHE'S BEAUTIFUL! I JUST WANT TO PUT HER ON MY SHELF AND NOT PLAY WITH HER! Those of the words of my seven year old. We did take her out of the box and my daughter excitedly went into detail about how beautiful her new 2018 Holiday Barbie is. Barbie's red ball gown stays full and has a very soft look. There was attention to detail in her design. You are able to see her individual eye lashes and her lip stick and nail polish match. Her silver and pearl head piece, necklace, and bracelet also match and are nicely made and so far have stayed on. Her red shoes stay securely on her feet but are removable with a little effort. Her
long hair is loosely curled on the ends. Barbie does stay on the stand when on a flat surface. The box is also of nice design. Barbie is very securely inside and can be easily seen. As she is securely inside it does take some effort to remove her. Barbie did end up in a special place on a shelf in my daughter's room but I'm sure she will be taken down and played with in the future as she already has been! She would be great for any little or big Barbie lover!

Absolutely stunning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about the 2008 teen doll is absolutely stunning the quality of the dress is superb it is nice and soft and flows elegantly the stitching is perfect the doll herself is beautiful her hair is soft and styled and she would look perfect sitting up in a karao cabinet to be enjoyed by everyone for years to come the quality is excellent there are some little pieces so if you're going to give to a child please make sure the child is over 3 and does not put things in their mouth. As this beautiful Barbie would create hours and hours of fun. I would definitely recommend
