I just received the Hot Wheels race track and it is AMAZING. The assembling manual is super easy to use, my 8yr old daughter managed to assemble the entire product together all by herself. My son is loving it and spends hours playing.

What a fabulous product, it has brought hours and hours of fun to my 9 year old. It was so popular we had to go out and buy additional cars to add to the fun.
The product is very sturdy, clips help secure the loops and ensure the cars race around at an amazing speed. It took less than 10 minutes to put together with excellent step by step instructions. When complete (you do have to purchase 4 large batteries (D/LR20 for the boosters - but they do rocket the cars around the track) the cars whizz around the track through 3 corkscrew loops at breakneck speed and you can set many challenges. We (yes I was as enthralled as my boy) decided that we would pick individual cars and see if you could knock out your opponents car and were amazed as we got 6 speeding around nose to tail.
My two criticisms of a very well made and easy to put together track were 1) The final piece connecting the last loop which slides onto a raised bump and clicks through the hole, it isn't as secure as the rest of the track and if the plastic moulding isn't perfect then it can affect how well it slots in and isn't as flush with the track as it should be.
2) The launch doesn't go as well when there are cars whizzing around the track (probably due to the vibration) but you can still place them in from the side quite easily.
These don't spoil the product for me and certainly not for my boy - it is engaging and addictive and would be a great addition for any Hot Wheels or diecast car enthusiast.
