Hot Wheels Corkscrew Crash Track Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item came at the perfect timing for my 4yr old's birthday. The set up was easy, maybe about 10-15min, clear directions, just snaps in place and can snap into other hot wheel sets. It also requires 4 D batteries to run the corkscrew feature. He absolutely loved it. It has three loops that the cars are launched through and it was fairly easy for him to run it by himself. Although, it is hard to get several cars going at the same time to "crash" into each other but he still enjoys seeing them run through the loops. The flatter hot wheel cars are more aerodynamic, the bulkier cars work ok but don't go as far. It is not too difficult to move from room to room but we have a corner of the playroom dedicated to his hot wheel collection. This is a very well made toy and makes an excellent Christmas or birthday gift!

Tons of fun until the launcher broke.

I bought this for my sons birthday in Jan and he loves it, but after months of playing, the launcher broke and no longer launches the car onto the track. Other then that it's great! Just unfortunate he can no longer play with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have had problems with this track. My son loves it, but it runs through batteries really really fast, the track doesn’t stay together well on the last loop and he broke down he launcher and now it’s lost too.
Anyways, because he loves it I am interested in a replacement last loop piece and launcher. How do I go about doing that? I can’t find the parts on Amazon.

My grandson absolutely loves this track. You have to find the right set of cars (Active) for it to work, so be sure to read the box before buying other cars. Weight and shape of car makes a huge difference. With the right cars, the loops are continuous for quite an amazing length of time. If your kid loves cars…it’s perfect. I wish hot wheels had this play set while I was growing up. I really enjoy getting down on the floor with the grandkid to play with this track.

Really cool track

My 4-year-old loves this track. It works best with car it came with, but other cars that we have that were equally as low profile as that car also worked well! It is VERY loud, which is only a problem because it limits when he can play with it. Also, my biggest problem is that it has just stopped working. Nothing happens when I turn it on. Put in fresh batteries, and still nothing. If anyone from Mattel sees this and has some ideas, I would appreciate it!
