Fascinating, Educational, and Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't let my kids see this yet, as it's a surprise for Christmas, but I couldn't help trying it out myself! First off, it's bigger than I imagined! Nice big pieces to work with. There are 3 layers (skin, muscle, bone) and it's fun to imagine what dinosaurs were like while learning about their body systems. I love the lungs function using the key. Like others said, it's a little tricky to get things into the right places, but that doesn't bother me. I can't wait to see my kids try this out!!

Tons of fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter LOVES this dino! She is very into STEM and this was right up her alley! She enjoyed putting all the parts together and the 'key' to move parts was her favorite accent. The only thing I wish was better was how some of the parts fit together; the body parts with multiple layers were hard to keep together

Cool toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old daughter enjoyed putting together this “puzzle” while learning the anatomy of the T-Rex. I like that this is a STEM toy and is educational. The DNA key makes the insides, leg and mouth move. A little difficult to get everything to snap in place. Can put it together and take it apart a few times.

Too complicated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product looks really neat, but was too difficult for my 8 year old daughter to put together. I thought it was an innovative product, and it would be useful in a classroom setting or for a child with a high interest level in that sort of toy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fun idea but not a lot of play power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this toy a couple weeks ago. The kids were very excited to open it up and put it together. It was fun seeing all the different parts of the dinosaur body and my kids were interested, from preschool up to grade-school. It was not difficult to figure out how to put the body together or take the body apart. Unfortunately, the toy did not have much playing power. The dinosaur is not very sturdy when it stands up, so it's not very good to play with. And once you have taken it apart and put it back together a couple times, it isn't too fun any more. A good idea, a great STEM idea, but it just stays in the toybox now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great little anatomy lesson built into a toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a dinosaur enthusiast in our house, so we were thrilled to get this toy to review! I love educational toys and my kids were very interested in seeing what the inside of the dinosaur looked like, and listened to my little anatomy lesson. My children enjoyed using the DNA activator key to make things work, especially with the lungs. This dinosaur kept them busy for a while taking it apart and putting it back together. Putting it back together once you get to the tail area gets a little tricky. I struggled at first, but I eventually got it. I still have to help my kids with it, but they enjoy being able to play with the dinosaur afterwards.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Attention Keeping Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year-old son loves this dinosaur! He is a dinosaur lover and he loves building legos. This was able to combine his love for both things. A dinosaur that he got to put together and then play with. I highly recommend for children who love dinosaurs and love to build!
