i've had the cj890 for about a week in active use, and it is simply magnificent. making the jump to a curved screen for my new win10 system was not a big deal, as i had been using a dual-screen flat screen samsung monitor setup for over ten years. i am accustomed to having a lot of screen real estate, but the cj890 has taken this a step further.
the image is totally bright and clear, with almost no vignetting at all on the corners, no dead pixels, and no problems. i am also pleased that the unit has built in speakers that sound fine.
i am running the unit off of a 40 foot hdmi cable...the quality is top notch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

43" CJ890 Is awesome

i've been using this monitor since feb 2020. i continue to push the monitor's functionality. the usb hub is awesome. i originally had my macbook pro (2013) going to a multi port dock and that into my monitor via hdmi. i could access all of the peripherals and external ssd drive easily through the usb hub. i recently bought a new macbook pro with thunderbolt ports and wanted to ditch the multi dock and go straight to the monitor. i wanted the quicker response the the usb hub, to charge my mac and reduce the number of cables. i was so happy when it all worked using the included cables with the monitor. i have since found a longer thunderbolt cable and have had great success. this monitor is clear, fast and responsive. i highly recommend it!

Good, Bad & the Ugly

I have been using Macs for a very long time and my need outgrew the 27" Mac monitor. I bought the 43" Samsung Curved CJ890 a year ago as I was very impressed by the features advertised on the website. Here is my take:
Good: Its a nice wide screen monitor that helps with productivity. It also has the split screen view where you can have multiple sources (Laptop/Phone etc.). Switching between displays easy.
Bad: The inbuilt KVM switch doesn't seem to work. (Perhaps works only for Windows OS)? I wouldn't know as I use a Mac (have several Mac book pros - latest). Further, the resolution is not great (if I compare to the Mac monitor); I believe it only goes unto 1920x1080 (not good). The height of the screen isn't much given its wide (ideally would be nice to have some vertical space too).
Ugly: I still have to have multiple keyboards for multiple laptops, compromise on the rsolution.
Overall, wouldn't recommend this to Mac users.

A fine, fine monitor

I have had this CJ890 for 2 years running on my sizzling win10 desktop, and it excels at everything. The finest monitor I have ever used. The rich detail is astonishing, and there's loads of screen real estate for multiple aps. No line dropouts, no dim edges. Image quality is flawless!
Now for years before this, I always had a 2-screen wide setup on my previous computers, so a large amount of screen real estate has long been essential for my sound and video editorial work. I like the light weight and adjustability very much.
The only complaint I can even think of is the power button is so small, and turning off requires a press, a toggle, and another button press.
