Waste of money

Very low quality phone shouldnt be the price of what it is. The camera stinks all pictures turn out blurry and if it comes in kinda clear the person doesnt even look like the person. I compare this phone to the low budget metro lg k20. Will never get one of these phones again even if it is on the promotion of bogo. Am going to see if I can trade it in on a lg g6+ since they are on the same promotion as these... DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!!!

Mistake

Giant mistake. There is a reason that LG only makes a handful of phones. I'm stuck with this. Don't make the mistake. It's extremely faulty and the Android system on it seems to be off...

I love LG phones. They are easy to operate and work well.
LG v 40 is so underrated . just can't get in the galaxy and I phone clicks. Been using LG for 4 years. My friends say that's not Samsung. I say it's better. Than they agree when show its features

Major Step Up for LG

I've seen the LG G4, used the LG V20 and just upgraded to the LG V40. THe LG V20 wasn't bad. Kinda slow (quad-core) with a small-ish screen, but relatively stable. Removable battery was nice. The V40, however, is a MAJOR leap ahead for LG. Large hi-def screen, plenty of RAM to run several apps simultaneously, continued support for micro-SD card, and significantly larger storage for apps. THis thing is FAST! Apps load quick, web pages load WiFi fast over enhanced LTE data, and videos look great and play without issues over data. Battery life is incredible! Using it heavily the entire day, it took 14 hours to hit 30%! Charge time is good, as it takes 1 hour to charge to 100% from 25% with an older 2A charger (tested and timed) instead of the included charger. Yes, it is backwards compatible with older chargers and Bluetooth devices. Cameras are great and take wonderful pictures. Drawbacks: Flash is too picky at times, and phone often overrides user preferences on the flash. Phone is ALL glass, so I would advise buying a case ASAP to protect it! (I bought a Spigen case.) Last, the external speaker is not the greatest for music of any kind, but it works well when used as an external speaker during calls.
I would recommend this to a friend!
