[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this phone a month ago and the volume button is broke for no reason. No drops no water not anything. Unsure of its reliability to this point. Everything else seems to be good, for now.

I've had this phone for about 3 weeks now. Like any new device it takes some getting used to, but pretty straight forward. The size is just right for me, and the fingerprint sensor on the back is easy to use. Takes great pictures, on par with my wife's iPhone XS.
This is my second Android phone (I held on to Windows Phone as long as I could) and this build is much better than my previous phone. Good features, although I think Android is way more complicated than it needs to be. But I've had less trouble adapting with this build, and I've not found any bloatware that interferes. App and OS response is very snappy, never have to wait for things to load.
The camera app has quite a few features that are new to me but it's easy to use. The volume of the ring tones and alarms is very good. I've been missing wireless charging, and this one works great. And it has a headphone jack! Even with these features it is still quite thin and easy to hold. And the battery life is excellent. All day without a problem.
I've had good results with other LG products which is why I got this instead of the typical Samsung. I'm very happy so far. The hardware is really first class.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought my first LG phone 6 years ago. Did not want to change to another different phone. My LG V10 was old and I needed a new phone, now I have a LG V40 thinQ. I love it!

Will not be buying another LG phone. The lack of OS updates is embarrassing. Factory unlocked does, by no means, mean open.
