Vent hood is great, but 1 major flaw

The vent hood seems to be operating well in the first day of use, and it is quiet. However, I wish the digital clock function could turn off with the other display functions when not in use. Having the time constantly lit, right at eyesight, smack in the center of the hood, ruins its aesthetics and makes it seem cheap. I wish it would turn off like the other lit functions as it's redundant with the GE cafe range right under it also displaying the time. If I had known it was constantly lit (not apparent from the pictures displayed), I wouldn't have purchased it. Unfortunately, you don't realize it until after it's installed and mounted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my new GE vent hood. Very sleek and stylish. Love the boost mode on the vent it is wonderful and the wifi feature of having Alexa turn it on and off is even better! The lights are perfect over the stove. I especially love the drop down to clean the grease screens which are very easy to remove and get back in wth the touch of a button.

Works really well. No problems so far. I love the LED-back-lit touch console that disappears when no features are in use. Excellent design.

I had the vented hood professionally installed. The HVAC guy followed the instructions, and used the recommended type of ductwork, and the vent was straight thru the wall to the outside. The result is that the vented hood is really quiet even at high speed, and it works beautifully to vent all the cooking smells outside. I like the lighting too. I always wanted a hood that was vented to the outside, and I just love it.

Satisfied -- But It Months for Software To Work

This one pairs using Bluetooth with our GE oven. It also can be automated with Google Assistant. The hood worked well. On the software side though, it took months of work with GE Connected support to get the connectivity working. Finally it works as I expeced.

We love the black stanless steel, it matches our other appliances. The glass control panel is slick and is easy to wipe away those finger prints. 3 strong lights illuminate the range evenly. The fan is nice and quiet and strong.
