The toy stops spinning after a day of play

We've had to exchange this toy twice because it stops spinning. It seems to spin again after we replace the batteries but it only lasts about 2 minutes then stops spinning again. The music will play just fine. Disappointed because this is not a cheap toy and it shouldn't fail so quickly. Seems like an Amazon reviewer had the same problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fun toy to dance along too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old loves everything Minnie Mouse and this toy is no exception!! She loves dancing around and twirling with it. Dancing Minnie sings and twirls and has multiple songs and sayings!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this Minnie Mouse for free in exchange for my honest opinion. Well my opinion is that my son LOVES it! As soon as I opened the box he was ready to take it out and start playing. He sings and dances along right beside Minnie. He really loves all the Mickey characters so I didn't doubt that he would love this toy as well! My 6 year old niece came to visit and she had just as much fun as my 2 year old! Great product and I would definitely recommend it to others!

I love that it’s not too heavy of a toy so she’s able to cary it around with her. She loves joining in and dancing with her (:

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2(almost 3)yr old daughter loves this singing Minnie. Even my 4yr old son likes to push the button and make her dance. My daughter likes to sing and dance with Minnie. The colors are bright and just like the cartoon. The lights that light up bright as well. Both kids enjoy playing with her and haven’t gotten tired yet like most toys. My daughter carries her around by the hand. I wish they would have added more song but besides that everything else was fun and the songs are easy for my daughter to remember and sing along with. It’s put together well also, it’s been dropya couple of times and hasn’t broken either.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A star button on Minnie's left foot is the only manipulable part; this button causes Minnie to sing for a moment, to talk, or to sing and dance by swishing her skirt and spinning. I am personally torn about this because it takes Minnie's girlification to a new level at a time when girls need to see their favorite characters doing a wide range of things, not diving deeper and deeper into glitter and bows to the exclusion of everything else. If this Minnie could also ask children to, say, flex their muscles and talk about being strong or brave, I would feel better about the bows and high-pitched giggles.
