Easy for little ones to play with

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was relatively easy to put together, just snap a few parts together and put in a screw. I needed to unscrew the battery compartment to put in batteries (not included) - seems like it would work just as well with AAs rather than three C batteries though. My 10.5-month-old is still in the stage where he wants to empty everything rather than filling it, but he actually put a couple of the balls onto the bouncing part. He mostly just put the balls in his mouth though. The vibration (the open surface in the dino and also on top both vibrate/bounce) was enough to send the balls all over, so unless you want to chase them around I'd suggest playing in a small, contained area like a playyard or inside a baby gate. The dino is cute and fortunately has two volume levels, so the lower one isn't too bad. Not sure it's worth the MSRP of $30, but it's a cute toy and will definitely keep my little one entertained for awhile, as he goes from just gumming the balls to putting them on the dino to watch them bounce.

It's ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is an ok toy. The balls fly off the top and go everywhere. The motor is really loud, when you turn the sound down all you hear is the motor. My daughter likes it for a few minutes, since the balls don't stay contained at all, once they disappear, she is done with it. It is really low to the ground, so balls really don't come out of the dinos mouth. It was really easy to put together. The only issue I had was that there was a screw that was supposed to attach the face to the body, but the screw hole was too big, so it never attached tightly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dino-fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 11 month son just started crawling- this toy came at the perfect time! The balls roll everywhere which gives him an opportunity to crawl after them. Assembly took less than three minutes. Provides lots of fun and entertainment.

Entertaining for babies and older kids too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 11-month old is intrigued by this toy- she really loves to look inside it and feel the bouncing mechanism, which in turn dumps out all the contents in an adorable way. We enjoy putting lots of toys inside- not just the balls that came with it, but also other small blocks and things (it fits the blocks from the Fisher Price Baby's First Blocks perfectly, and they are less likely to roll as far on our wood floors), and it does encourage her to crawl after them when it pops them out. She also likes placing larger objects inside to hear them clack on the plastic, and enjoys the music and sounds. I think she'll grow into it and love it even more as she figures out what she can do with it. My friend's 4 year old also came over and asked if he could play with it-- his approach was to ask us to turn it off, load it up with toys, and then turn it on to see what happens (the blocks usually trigger the bouncing mechanism if the product is switched on). He really liked packing it absolutely full and watching. Overall, a fun toy that I think will continue to be entertaining as my daughter gets older-- plus it was super easy to assemble and I was pleasantly surprised that is not a huge toy, so I can store it for the next kid.

Interactive fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this toy a few days ago and it has quickly become a new favorite! Our daughter is 11 months old and loves to chase the balls as they pop out of the musical Dino.
There are two chambers where the balls "pop" from - the top chamber and the bottom chamber - from the bottom you can return the balls via the Dino's tail or his "belly" and sometimes they will roll out of his mouth but we've found most of the time they pop right back out from the middle of the Dino.
Be ready to chase the balls and help your little one, if they are younger. The toy comes with six balls that are the perfect size for little ones and they tend to roll everywhere on the wood floors but do not go far on carpet. The Double Poppin' Dino is a good toy that keeps our daughter chasing the balls and eventually tires her out. If you are looking for an interactive fun toy and one that is simple to put together, I would highly recommend this one.

Loved the music

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was for my 10 month old granddaughter. She loves the music and loves to turn the bouncing movement on, but doesn't really play with it that much. I think it would be much better for about 6-9 month olds who aren't walking yet.
