After opening the box my 5 year old son and 3 year daughter were occupied for hours. They thoroughly enjoyed the spinning carousel and loved the genie and Zahracorn characters. The toy is easy to assemble, put away and durable. It has a number of features such as the push button which makes the character move up and down and flutter its wings, a see saw, a slide and a secret hiding place all of which kept the children amused and entertained.
I would recommend this to a friend!

As soon as my daughter saw this she was elated! She helped me put it together which was really simple to do and for the next hour repeatedly pointed out all the features saying weeeee when the merry go round was spinning. Look mummy, whilst pressing the button and playing with the seesaw. I thought it might take a little while for her to pick up on how to fix the figures to the rides (using the holes in the feet) but this was no problem for her. It took a couple of attempts to lift the merry go round but once she did, it was fine. She loves the wings on the Zahracorn, making hand motions to imitate the little wings fluttering. Over all this is a lovely colourful and explorative toy and I have one very happy little girl. i would be happy to pay extra to have 2 genies though and will be on the lookout for extras now!

Got to test this toy out and my daughter hasn’t stopped playing with it. My daughter is very rough with toys and although the play set doesn’t look super strong, she hasn’t managed to break it and it even survived one of her tantrums haha. But anyway, great toy.

I received this item to review and my 3 year old daughter absolutely loves it! There are so many different parts she can put the figures on and play with. I also love the fact the figures actually stay on the toy when it is spinning around! Brilliant product and lots of fun times being had with it! Only downside, you only get two figures with the set and have to collect the rest but this is a very minor downfall to a great product!

We love Shimmer and Shine in this house,so when my daughter saw it she was so excited!She loves to play with smaller toys and she loves to collect them so it was the perfect toy for her!IMy opinion as a mother of two girls(Emily 3, Elina 2 weeks old)its so lovely,colourful,girly and also durable enough to last for the baby sister when she will be old enought to play with it,and also i think its suitable for older children so i can imagine my girls can play with it together when baby Elina will be the same age as Emily now.

Cute but a bit flimsy

My 4 years old daughter was very impressed when she opened the box - it is very easy to build for an adult and she started to play with it immediately spinning the carousel. It is not so easy to put th unicorn on the carousel and she needed help in doing so. She enjoyed playing with the seesaw and the little slides.
