I bought this item for my daughter who is 17 months and she absolutely loves it! The sounds, songs and accessories are great.

Lots to Do, and Grow Into

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's a lot to see, hear and do in this compact camper. My 19 month-old son's current favorite feature is pushing the camper around and listening to its fun songs. He needs some help opening the camper to transform it into the campsite, but when it's open he's able to access and activate the different points that play sounds and music. As he grows I can see this toy becoming a favorite for imaginative play, but we're not there yet.
As a parent I enjoy the large variety of original songs and sounds the camper plays. There's enough that I'm not tired of them yet. The song about bug spray even makes me laugh a bit. I also appreciate that it can be used as a "push the vehicle around" type toy, and an imaginative play toy. A power button and volume switch would have been a nice addition. Also, I expect the Adirondack chairs, fishing pole and boat, although cute accessories, to likely be lost fairly quickly. They can be tossed in the top of the camper after it's closed up, but don't have a dedicated storage area.
Overall the toy is likely a bit young for my son currently, but it's durable enough to stand up to his rough toddler play, and I'm sure it will continue to grow with him for years to come.

Imaginative Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product a week ago and both of my girls (ages 3 and 1) love it! This set comes with a very detailed camper, which displays a sleeping area, complete with a sink and two sleeping bags, an outdoor area, with a campfire, grill, and cute animals, and a driving area, which fits two people. Also included with the set is a little boat with a fish, two camping chairs, two people, and a dog. The people are very sturdy compared to some of the older Little People sets we have. The log neat the fire activates some cute camping songs and lights the fire. The best part about it is that it folds up altogeher and you can store all the parts inside of it.
As soon as my three year old saw the set, she grabbed it and rolled it off to her room. She used her other Little People princesses and had a big camp out! She was using voices and having a great time. My one year old heard her and had to join in on the fun. She loves to push the camper around and, of course, chew on the people.
This is a great set, especially for summer. We just went camping, so my girls were thrilled to reenact their trip. I recommend this set for great summer fun!

Very Entertaining

Absolutely wonderful

I cannot tell you how much my oldest child's eyes lit up when I handed him the Little People Songs and Sounds Camper. The fact that when the wheels move it plays music made his day! He usually will turn the wheels over and over on any vehicle type toy. This one actually gave him a little something extra which was nice and broke his need to self stim which ushered him to play with more of the features and actually play with the the toy appropriately. He was so amazed that the campfire lit up. My one year old also really loved the toy. He giggles every time he hears one of the songs :) I like that everything packs up into the camper so I don't have to worry about someone's favorite little person getting lost during clean up. Hands down this is a really cool interactive toy that encourages imaginative play. I can't wait to add more Little People playlets to our play room.

Lots of activities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this camper toy a week ago. After opening, which was pretty simple, I was surprised to find that it had quite a few figurines included. It was a little tricky to figure out how to open and close safely. After all the pieces were set out it was quite enjoyable to play with. It has an electric fire place and some nice sounds that aren't too loud. It was fun playing "camping" with the different sections of the toy especially the boat and dock and fireplace. It has lawn chairs and beds and a table for the campers. After done with the activities all the pieces fit in the camper and the people sit up front to drive away. This is an enjoyable toy with plenty of activities for the imagination.

My child loves it

This toy brought out his imagination and it hold his attention for a long while. He loves it when I play along with him so it creates a different son and dad bond. I am happy with the product and so is my child. Definitely would recommend to any 2 or 3 year old
