After years of ink failures and high ink costs, this is the answer. Thank you Brother for coming up with a superior product at a fair price for my Brother MFC-J5845DW printer.

The Ink Will Not Last A Year

Disappointed ink cartridges

I was very disappointed in the amount of ink in the cartridge’s. I have a huge commercial printer and it came with large full cartridges. What I received was 25% of ink in each red, blue and yellow.

We understand your Brother LC30373PKS cartridges did not print the approximate amount. We'd like to help. The stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more ink and will shorten the life of the ink cartridge. Print quality is not good

Brother forced me, via hardware, to stop using third-party inks. Fine. I ponied up and paid full price for the Brother brand ink cartridges. Now my print quality is worse than ever, with red streaks. The maintenance cycle doesn't fix it. I'm very frustrated.
