I bought this laptop a few weeks ago and I love it! The thin bezel on the side makes the screen look larger than I expected and the thickness and weight are perfect! Best part is the great value for the price point!
Price/performance in most areas is quite good. Big disappointment is the battery life. Doesn't make it through a workday without recharging. I purchased an ultrabook for its portability and feel like I got shortchanged on that front. Really needed more there, and I've contemplated returning it just on this issue alone.
Screen is OK but not bright enough to use outdoors or in very bright areas, which is too bad. Build quality seems good, and I find the keyboard and touchpad to work well.

This laptop is extremely high quality in design and features. I’m very impressed with its speedy performance far more superior than many other laptops I’ve been able to use. I’ve had no complaints so far and this has been an amazing piece of hardware!
The laptop could have been good. But at this price - really at any price - one expect a solid built. The Yoga 730 has a flickering screen that is due to hardware and construction defect. The screen started to flicker after a couple of weeks and does it randomly. It is triggered by electric surcharge as well as movement along the spine of the screen. There is no fix and no solution. You will find many reviews online complaining about it, some are offering software or Bios update, but this is not the cause or the solution. It is a weakness in the screen's power source management and it is especially visible along the bottom of the screen once you start moving the screen. The lack of SD card reader is another weakness, a detail compared to the screen issue that can render this laptop quite frustrating at time.
I bought this a month ago, and I am already sending it back due to a wiring issue.

Very poor battery life. On board speakers inaudible. Fingerprint log in rarely works. When in use adequate speed and graphics though. Lightweight but pointless if one has to always have charger at hand. Nice touch screen but never use it.

Working great so far after a month of using it as my first laptop. Touch screen/lenovo active pen working great for note taking. Light enough and build quality seems sturdy. Very snappy and speed is excellent. Sound quality is decent. Have not tested graphics/games. 4/5 stars because a few small problems. Battery life could be better but charging is fast so not a huge deal and this may just be a general issue with all laptops. OCcassional glitches such as screen wil not rotate immediately when switching to tablet mode (but not a huge issue). Screen can be a bit brighter. Sometimes in tablet mode the onscreen keyboard does not open (this could be windows 10 issue). Other than that I am very happy with the purchase overall and would recommend this for anyone looking for an active pen enabled laptop for decent price.
