Last month I bought the Smartwatch - Falster 2 Magnetic Steel-Mesh. I love the look and everything it had to offer but right away I noticed the battery life was terrible. If I connect it to my phone to get notifications or choose a workout the battery dies within a half a day. I have to charge my watch twice a day. Really disappointed as I really wanted a smart watch that looked like a nice watch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It really is a very nice looking and wearing watch. I love the flexible metal band. However, that's where the joy ends. This product is beautifully flawed with a problem you cannot fix - abysmal battery life. It's simply unacceptable for the watch to be only be capable of 10-12 hours of life when ONLY USED as a watch with a simple screen. Heaven forbid that you actually try to use it as a smartwatch, with features and WiFi enabled, then you will be saddled with a sad 5-7 hours of battery life, at best. It's sad, since it is so beautiful and had so much potential. Next to an iWatch, which my wife has, there is not much smart about this Skagen Falster 2 Smartwatch.

Love this watch, feels great on wrist and the mesh band is wonderful to provide exact sizing (and changing sizing based on look or need). Wish the battery would last a little longer (I get about 12-15 hours with moderate use). Like the customization available and software is smooth.

The only thing I can really comment about that I wish was a little different would be for the screen to be a little bigger but by not much just a little bigger, But overall I think it's a really solid product that just needs a little more publicity.

I was very happy with this watch in the first place. The case fell apart without a single drop or crash two months after my purchase. I sent it back and got free repair service but the touch screen started to act weird after the service. Screen freezes so often and I don't even have the chance to restart and can only wait for the battery die. I really like the design and software of this watch and really want to use it! But spending three hundreds on a watch and can only use it for two months is not acceptable!

This is a beautiful watch... hands down gorgeous. Unfortunately, i've already sent it in twice for quality issues, the backing of the watch would fall off. This watch is only 8 months old. When this happens, there is now way to charge your watch. Battery life is decent, maybe 7-8 hours at best (with all the features turned off). I only use it to check text messages and you'd expect that paying almost $300 you'd get more. I'm a big Skagen fan and glad that I still have my two regular wind-up watches. If I can only trade this in, I would. Hopefully the Falster3 comes out soon and Skagen buys back this Falster2.
