The good - I can now dismiss the robo calls with a touch of the dial. I like the looks. I'm getting familiar with the routine of setting it on the charger each night (like my phone). The okay - gestures are a bit confusing. Sometimes tilt to see time is slow. Magnetic clasp gets stuck on my work badge, computer cases, my washer and dryer, (you get the idea.) Technically, my watch is challenged because my office requires a Google certificate to join the Wifi. WearOS doesn't support this type of authentication and it just fails to join the network. Luckily, my iPhone joins the network and the watch pairs via Bluetooth so I'm connected okay as an assistant.
I was looking for a watch that didn't look like a fitness watch. This is perfect. I was also looking for a watch that would alert me when I had a text message or phone call. This does that also. This was all I was looking for but it has so much more. It tracks fitness, you can check weather and news, and you can check and respond to text messages. The part I like the most is that you can personalize the watch. The clock face can change colors to your liking. You can change what the buttons pull up. The swiping is smooth and it hasn't lagged for me. My only complaint is that when I have it set to turn on with a touch, it takes a while for the clock face to come on so it isn't instantaneous when I'm trying to see what time it is. The magnetic band is nice but I find that it attracts my jewelry and when I'm at work, I work around metal equipment and I have to remove my watch sometimes. Overall, I love the watch and I'm glad I got it.
I'm so happy with this purchase. I love my watch. It looks great. It has a magnet clasp and it is so nice and always a perfect fit! The battery lasts more than a day. The only minor thing I found was that the weather is for the city adjacent to mine and not my exact city but whatever it's so minor I don't really care. The watch had different faces to choose from, I wish it had a few more but I found my favorite from their options. I am happy with my purchase.
I have a Huwai and Kate Spade. The functioning is comparable. BUT....the Skagan just feels better. The weight, the clever band and display are even better than they look in the picture. I do have a wish list...a mic AND a speaker....I would be in heaven!
While the newer model is likely a bit better(1gb RAM and speaker). The faster 2 has the same look and is much better bang for the buck. It's still quick enough to tell time and read the incoming alerts that you buy a smartwatch for. It only bogs down when you ask it to do too many tasks at once. One thing at a time, and this stylish watch will be a great companion for your wrist.
