This was a gift for my wife, whose R.A. makes it difficult to wield a cast iron Dutch oven. Cooks Country magazine recommended the 6 quart tri-ply sauce pot as a light weight alternative. But the pot is so much more, especially at a much better price than the top shelf clad products (I call it my "stainless steal"). First project: pinto beans, followed by West Texas chili - both great successes!

It's a great pot. Heats well and evenly. Not heavy but strudy. Perfect size for our meals (4 people, 6 Quart). Easy to clean. My mother is a seasoned home cook, and uses this daily. I would buy it again. The 2 quart sauce pan (our first tramontina product) was great as well

I love the feel and weight of this great pan. It cleans up easily and always appears brand new. The lid fits tightly on the pan which allows for even cooking and no jiggling of the lid. If you follow the suggestions on how to use your cookware, you will always be very happy with the results. Thank you Tramontina, you've made me a successful chef!

Quality pan, it heats well and has a flat bottom. Have used it for roasts, stews, soups, chili. It is a good size for my family of 4 and easier to manage than an 8 quart.

Solid, sturdy and looks great. Looks and feels like it is built to last. Made my old pots and pans jealous. If this gets scratched or dented I'll know who to blame.

High quality craftsmanship and not as pricey as other makes. I am impressed with the customer service, very responsive and helpful with a few questions I had before making the purchase.

I use the 2qt saucepan every morning for my oatmeal. The 1.5 is fabulous for baked rice, the 3qt is perfect for a full bag of frozen veggies from the store, and the 4qt boils the perfect potatoes for potato salad. I haven’t used the 6 Quart yet but I imagine it will make great beef stew in the fall and winter.
