Knobs melt

3 Knobs closest to heat melt over time. Made out of cheap material and attached to expensive appliance.
I spoke to Consumer Relations and they are not willing to do anything about it until the knobs are recalled.
And they will not be recalled if customers don't complain and just buy the replacements. It's a shame

Zero durability

We decided upon GE cafe line for the finishing options, little did we know the knobs cannot handle even the recommended cleaning as they are all turning white. Renovated our kitchen 3 years ago and not wanting to spend this much on replacement when they are in fact not stainless steel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Similar to the other numerous reviews, knob issues, specifically peeling and melting. HUGE disappointment. I thought this may have just our product but clearly not. Starts within just a couple months of install.

Poor quality knobs- peeling after one week

We moved into our new home just one week ago and started using the Cafe 5 gas cooktop. We cook very rarely but the brushed stainless knobs are already peeling. This is really disappointing for a premium appliance brand. It seems like a manufacture flaw. I am requesting warranty support or a replacement for these knobs. Please address this.

Peeling knobs on my cafe gas cooktop

I love my cooktop as well as my other 4 cafe appliances however the knobs on my cooktop are peeling. This is supposed to be a luxury line. I have only had my cooktop for 2 years.

Low quality and disappointing

I see that I am not alone with this faulty expensive product. What a shame to have to pay over 200 for plastic knobs that don’t hold up. I’ve never had this issue with any other ranges I have owned in the last 20+ years. Tried to add photos but it won’t let me.
