Cheap Knobs on Expensive Appliance

I could not believe the cheap materials used on an expensive unit! Kitchen remodel completed in August 2022 and 4 months later wear and tear on cheap knobs. Shameful on Cafe production and undermines the entire attempt at promoting itself as a luxury kitchen brand. This needs attention ASAP.

Knobs melt

3 Knobs closest to heat melt over time. Made out of cheap material and attached to expensive appliance.
I spoke to Consumer Relations and they are not willing to do anything about it until the knobs are recalled.
And they will not be recalled if customers don't complain and just buy the replacements. It's a shame

Cheap plastic products in expensive cook top.

If i can give 0 stars I would. These knobs began melting and peeling. For this price point these should be real stainless. Absolutely ridiculius quality from the “high end” GE Cafe brand. After every appliance in my kitchen is Cafe i will not be buying anymore.

Knobs are cracked and peeling just from using 1 x per day over the last year. Very disappointed in the product.

terrible knobs that melt and break

These knobs break on the inside and even trying to tape themback up doesnt work. The outter covering melts and bubbles up as well. GE - you should know better with all the customer reviews that bought your products and replace these

Disappointing Quality at an Excessive Price

Low quality hardware that started peeling within months. GE clearly knew its customers would be forced to purchase replacements and opted to charge an absurdly high price. I regret choosing Cafe appliances for our entire kitchen and will never do so again.

Not Real Stainless Steel!!

These knobs are not Real stainless steel! They are plastic and the finish wears off within months. Very disappointed.

Having this color chip off of your knob can create a huge eyesore in the kitchen and this is certainly not the experience we want for you.
