As a long time Apple Watch wearer (and iPhone user), I wanted something that looked a bit nicer and more like a traditional watch. In my opinion, the Skagen Falster 2 the best looking smartwatch out there. I received this as a Christmas present, and I have been wearing it for about a month. So far, the following are my observations. THE BAD (Most of this is likely related to the Google Wear OS and Apple iOS battle) -My watch is continuously disconnecting from my phone and not automatically reconnecting. So, at least 5 times a day, I'm having to manually reconnect. It is irritating, to say the least. - I'm used to the Apple Watch interface on my phone, where I can customize and organize apps as I like. As of now, the Google Wear app does not have the same functionality. Having to customize and organize everything on a small watch face is a bit cumbersome. - At times, when waking the watch, refresh is a bit sluggish and apps can be slow to load. - When the watch is connected to my phone, phone notifications aren't muted. So, if i'm getting a phone call, my phone and watch both ring/vibrate and when muting one, the other still goes. THE GOOD - I really like the "always on" face (i.e. always a simple a watch face). It's a battery saver without having to rely on wrist movement or a touch to tell the time. - Watch bands are very easy to customize with the standard quick-release bands - you don't have to stick to proprietary options or bootleg versions. - It is a great looking watch, as Skagen always provides. Overall, I really like the watch, but do have some frustrations with the software interface (hence the 1-star docking). If only all software companies could play nice in the sandbox.

I like this a lot. Its has great finish, good touch and watchface. But worst part is its battery which hardly longs for a quarter day if you use it in more than fair amount but with fair use its a must have.
The best looking watch, but the battery life staggers.

The Falster 2 is by far the best looking smartwatch of them all. It can do most things that other Android smartwatches can, but the battery life doesn't last enough. If you enable batter saver mode, it can quite easily last several days without charging while still tracking steps, but if you enable sleep tracking (through a separately installed app) or if you disable the battery saver mode the battery lasts about a day. Also the silicone wristband, while comfortable, collects dust excessively. Probably going to return it for a Galaxy watch, but I will definitely miss the looks.
Has great potential, I don't use it all day crazy so I can easily make the battery last all day. I had an original sony smart watch so long ago and everything had gotten so much better with smart watches, they are actually functional and useful.
Paid extra for 2 days shipping only for my product to arrive 4-5 days later (thank you skagen for the extra charge) Called customer service to cancel order, got hung up on the first time and the second time was told product already shipped.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my first Google Wear OS watch and I really like it. I think it's one of the best looking wearables available today. However , I'm not a fan of the silicon straps so I replaced it with a leather one I purchased online. It's been fun playing around and adding apps to it. The only negative so far seems to be the battery life. It makes it through most of my day but I wish it was a little longer.
I had the LG Watch Style before. During that time I was not a fan of Android Wear / Wear OS. I had previously come from the Apple Watch which I still think is the gold standard. With the Falster 2, I came in having somewhat modest expectations. So far it's exceeded my expectations. The battery life has been good. I don't think it's come close to running out of battery during the day. Additionally the notifications have worked as I had hoped. I'm not a power user but for what I'm interested in the Falster 2 delivers. It has nice watch faces. The faces don't easily get changed (like the LG Watch Style). The battery lasts all day (unlike the LG Watch Style). The notifications work great. And it looks great. In the photos I really wanted a shinier one but the matte looks better than I imagined. I ordered the other black version, the shiny one with the magnetic wrist strap, but it was too sparkly for my taste. I returned it. I was also worried about the supposed issues with the processor since a newer one came out. Again, I haven't had any issues with notifications or battery life. The one thing I did do was set the screen to be on all the time. Reviews have mentioned that the raise to wake is slow and I agree that it is. Just leave the screen on and that takes care of that. One other thing that I wish was different would be Android Pay requiring the watch to be unlocked via a code/password. I wish I could enter the code/password on my phone instead of tapping on the watch screen. I'm not a fan of the fingerprints. I'm going to explore some more forums/threads to see if there is a work around because I know there will be a time that I want to use Android Pay but I also know that I don't want to manually unlock my watch every day if I'm not using Android Pay. I get that there's safety concerns but I don't remember the inconvenience with the Apple Watch. I think when you unlocked your iPhone it also unlocked your watch if it was on your wrist nearby. That's what I want.
