Very happy with the system. Reasonably easy to set up, and I used the community for a few questions to point me in the right direction. very good quality pictures. Very easy to install - just plug in the cables to the unit, plug the camera into the cable and a few seconds later its all working.

8 Channel 5MP Super HD NVR Security System

This Swann system replaced a generic one I had purchased elsewhere 3 years ago. That one died and the company offered no support or repair options so I was out of luck. I decided
to go with a brand name and a company that's been around for awhile. I researched Swann and other companies products and decided to go with Swann due to ratings, features, price, and support reputation . It was very easy to get up and running. The hardest / most time consuming was deciding where to run the cat 5 wires. Once I decided where to place the cameras and got going it went fine. I configured the system by following the steps in the quick start guide and then downloaded the homesafe app for my Iphone and ipad by scanning the q-code.
That was so easy and it installed and was up and running in less that a minute. I could now see my property from anywhere I had internet or cell on my phone or Ipad- SWEET !
Seems to be great quality - I am expecting this to last for some time to come without any issues.

The picture quality is great, I am not sure how the spotlight cameras work yet, and I have not yet gotten the App to connect up to my camera system though my router. I have had swann before and have two camera systems on the same router. This may be the problem, since they both use the same port 9000.
