SolarPanel 10+ was purchased with the Charge 80. In the preliminary tests, the SolarPanel 10+ would not fully charge the Charge 80, always one bar shy of full. It would not charge the 3200 ma reserve while the charge 80 was plugged in. Unplugged, in direct sunlight, the internal power storage is indicating full power.

Maybe slightly large for backpacking, however, it does the job fantastically well, charged 2 x GoPro batteries and 2 x phones in a day. I never got a full charge from my goal zero, always maxed out at 90%. I love the little cross hairs that allow you target the sun. This thing rocks

No charging anymore

After few years, I cannot charge my panel any more. I see just 1 LED lighting when put on USB to charge, bit no effect. So what to do?? Another question, such thin rubber band is coming out on the upper side of the yellow bow on the rearside? some sealing???
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been able to charge my phone on sunny days. Slower on cloudy days, but it works well. The stored change on it is a nice feature. Making sure we have a way to charge our phones and lights for the next power outage.

My first solar panel….

Let me first say i own everything biolite has to offer….not because their product is the best….but their support is outstanding….lets get to it….it s charging is fast….has to be in direct sunlight…no shad…not in cloudy environment….full sun or else it doesn’t charge….the funny thing i found with it…when trying to open it up…it doesn’t stay open….it refuses to…..but once it s in sunlight and panels heat up it stays open just fine….it charges my iPhone 8plus just fine…my iPad takes a long time…like i mentioned before….have not compared it to any other panel
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awful product that repeatedly fails

Purchased and exchanged this panel at least 3 times including Biolite replacing it once. The panel with a built in battery in theory is a good idea but terrible in that the moment the panel gets warm that the system shuts down and stops producing power (denoted by the 1,2,4,3 light sequence that biolite documentation doesn't even mention. The panel isn't even warm and yet the panel shuts down. Biolite, you market yourselves as a premium product company and charge as such but your products fail to deliver. I've invested $100's into Biolite products and frankly I'm not impressed with ANY of them and will be sending more than 50% of my Biolite products straight to the dump b/c they're beyond 1 year now and even if they're replaced I know what to expect from the replacements.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
