just got this new freezer in early Dec. 2020.

there is frost continually happening on the upper left edge, right near the gasket meets the freezer lid. Is this Common??
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend checking the gasket and making sure it is sealing properly. Keep in mind, frost near the gasket is not unusual during periods of high humidity. We had a large freezer that went out and had to purchase two freezers to replace it. Very glad we downsized at this time, even though we now have two freezers. Easier to organize and keep things straight.

Nice lid handles

Old freezer lost lid seal due to kids opening and closing from corner. This new freezer has well designed handles in the lid on each side where kids normally grab! Anticipating it will last much longer!

Works great in the cold garage.

We purchased this freezer to hold extra food and it surpassed our expectations of how much it holds. Also, it has performed well in the garage during our recent cold spell of conservative below zero days and nights.
