So Far, So Good

I had a slightly larger upright freezer that died on me at the six-week point. This unit has surpassed my current one, even though I settled on a chest freezer that is slightly smaller. Thus far, it is serving me well, and it looks like it'll be a great unit to have on hand.

We decided we needed extra storage for frozen food items now that my husband & I are on social security & get paid once a month.So we decided to buy a small chest freezer to store our goods in our spare bedroom & wanted somethng fitting.The size of this freezer is just perfect.We now can buy for the entire month & still have so much room in the kitchen freezer,so I'm able to now cook in bulk & store items in the new little one! It is such a joy to go into the :bedroom" to pull out something for dinner! Also,it is even much quieter than the fans we have throughout our condo.Great purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this freezer and I have nothing negative to say about it! It’s the perfect size! Doesn’t take up a ton of room and it’s not to big and not to small. Set it up in my garage to keep extra meat and things frozen. Works well! If you are thinking about getting this freezer I say do it! You won’t be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HotPoint Manual Defrost Chest Freezer is the perfect fit in our basement! It provides a great amount of storage for our extra frozen meats, larger boxed items such as frozen pizzas (which don't really fit in our freezer on top of the fridge) and even includes a basket perfect for smaller frozen foods. We use our small removeable basket for loose freeze pops and ice creams so our children can freely help themselves throughout the hot summers.
This chest freezer was easy to "setup", just plug it in and you're good to go! It's keeping our frozen goods ice cold and even has a capped drain plug right in the front for when it comes time to defrost and drain manually.
I would recommend this to a friend!
