[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer came packaged VERY well. The box was inside of another box so it arrived in perfect condition without a scratch or dent. The size of this freezer is perfect for what I was looking for since we tend to buy food in bulk. Although the freezer does not look huge, it can hold a ton of food.
There was literally no assembly required. Just plug it in and you're ready to start storing food or making ice. It became cold very quickly after plugging it in. I put a bottle of water in as soon as I turned it on and the water was frozen in about 2 and a half hours.
The unit is very, very quiet. The green indicator on the front lets you know it is running. The outside of the freezer has stayed cool to the touch. I like the temperature control is in the front. The drain is also in the front, which is convenient when it comes time to defrost.
The lids lifts easily with grips on the side and stays up by itself. The sliding basket moves smoothly although I think I may add another to the freezer.
The freezer is deep so some may have a problem reaching things on the bottom. The cord is a good length and durable.
Currently I have the freezer in my utility room, but plan on moving it to the pantry in the future. This is a solid product that is well made. I'm very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for all of the extra meats we buy in excess from the grocery store. This freezer has all the space needed for anything you might want to keep froze, including spirits. I love how cold it keeps my stuff! Great product!

My daughter love and approved, she wanted to immediately go to the store and get some meat to store in our new deep freezer. It was easy to move even on the carpet. Perfect size for our kitchen. Good for a small family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do a lot of hunting and fishing and needed an extra freezer to put my game and fish in. This is the perfect size to not take up a lot of space, but big enough to keep a couple of processed deer, a hog and lots of fish. I was surprised how fast it reached freezing temps right after plugging it in. I have not had to defrost it yet, but it has a capped drain in the front which should make defrosting a snap. Very nice freezer!

Great Compact freezer

It doesn’t take up a lot of room which is great as room is at a commodity in my garage. The freezer was up and running in no time and you would be amazed how much space there is in it. We have all our meat in it that we bought (1/4 cow) and also room for other stuff. The drain plug in the front is going to be great for draining and defrosting. It’s a quiet fridge and it seems to be of high quality. Nice job!!

Hotpoint 5.1 cu ft chest freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hotpoint 5.1 cu foot chest freezer was a fantastic addition to my house as it was a perfect size for the area in which I hooked it up. It is quiet and has a nice amount of size and capacity for storage of a variety of things. Also the racks included make for convenient access to items as needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Hotpoint chest freezer. It is the 5.1 cubic feet, it is the manual defrost model. I love that it doesnt take up much room but it holds a lot of food. It is great for the large frozen pizzas that my son loves.
