This lens is gonna be amazing!!!

Getting this for portraits is gonna give me great bokeh and fantastic sharp images. that F1.4 is gonna gonna be great for light scenes. Wish they made one this for EF-S or EF mounts aswell. Remember that F1.4 will act as an aperture of (F/2.24) which is still Amazing!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Canon does their nasty tricks again

Bad news:
- The lens is auto retracting, meaning it automatically messes your focus by setting it back to infinity every time the camera goes to sleep mode or is turned off. So it's PAIN in macro, astro, product, or whatever photography.
- It has a "wired manual focus", and it's bad. The faster you turn the ring, the slower the focus changes.
Good news:
- The image it produces are amazing!
So, optically this lens is a dream come true but Canon has pretty much ruined it with bad electric executions and software (both, the camera's and lenses).
