Fast Laptop (with some work)

This is a good laptop once it is setup with a M.2 SSD drive. I used it for a few days with the stock internal 1 TB drive and it took a long time to boot/load, especially with antivirus and backup software running. After opening and installing an inexpensive 120 GB M.2 SSD it boots and loads in under 20 seconds and the 1 TB drive is now used for backups and extra storage. The Dell service manual for installing the SSD can be found on the Dell website.

The backlit keyboard is great and it's nice to find a laptop that has an internal optical drive to play music CDs and run older CD and DVD games.
The screen feels a little flimsy when opening and closing, and the resolution/viewing angles could be better, but for the price is more that adequate.
This model does not include the fingerprint scanner on the power button.
