Card reader works well, but SD cards are very difficult to remove from the adapter.

Insert- Remove

Very difficult to insert the card -difficult to remove the card from this reader.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's OK, but carefully compare to other readers

Inserting and removing expensive SD cards requires more force ought be necessary, so take care not to damage expensive memory cards by just ordinary use. Using USB 3 connection copying a 27 GB file using default exFat file system took 6:45 seconds; a reformat using NTFS and copy took 6:41 seconds, so no real advantage to using Windows native file system. If I had to do it all over again I'd carefully compare to others readers before buying this one. The reader is OK but isn't made to the same standards as SanDisk SD cards, in my opinion.

Handy little device if you computer does not have a SD card reader on it. Simply put the SD card into the reader and plug it into any USB port.
