[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the drive a few months ago and the product is great! I'm able to store a lot of games, documents, etc. on there, so it really helps since my computer doesn't have much storage. The one qualm I have about it has to be the price tag.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Holds a ton of music & other stuff!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Alright, so you're looking for a USB stick to dump your music, photos, or whatever files on, and you want to know if those Samsung 128GB USB 3.1 thingies are any good, especially for jamming tunes in your car, right? Here's the lowdown from someone who just wants stuff to work: The Good Stuff: Holds a TON of Music (and other junk): 128GB is a lot. Like, you can probably put your entire music library on it, a bunch of photos, work documents, you name it. Unless you're a DJ with a million songs, you'll likely have space left over. Pretty Zippy for Loading Up: It's "USB 3.1," which basically means it's faster than those old USB sticks you have lying around. So, when you're dragging a bunch of albums onto it from your computer, it won't take forever. And when you plug it into your car, your songs should pop up reasonably quickly. Good for the Car (Especially One Kind): They have this one called the FIT Plus. It's tiny. Like, really small. The best part is you can plug it into your car's USB port and it barely sticks out. So, you're not gonna accidentally whack it with your knee or snag your coffee cup on it. Super handy for leaving it plugged in. Then there's the BAR Plus. This one's more of a "normal" looking stick, but it's made of metal and feels pretty tough. It's got a loop for your keychain, so you can carry it around without losing it (as easily). It works just as well for music in the car, just sticks out a bit more. Built Tough-ish: Samsung says these things can handle getting wet, dropped, X-rayed (like at the airport), and even deal with magnets and heat/cold. So, if you're a bit clumsy or leave it in a hot car, it should be okay. Don't go swimming with it, but it's tougher than your average cheapo stick. Plays Nice with Most Gadgets: Should work fine with your computer (PC or Mac), smart TV, and yeah, most car stereos that have a USB port. The Not-So-Good Stuff (No Dealbreakers, Though): Loading Onto It Can Be a Bit Slower: While getting files off it or playing music is quick, sometimes copying a massive bunch of new files onto the drive can feel a tad slower than you'd expect for a "fast" drive. It's not snail's pace, but something to know. The Tiny One is Easy to Lose: That super small FIT Plus? Yeah, if you're not leaving it in your car, keep an eye on it. It's the kind of thing that vanishes into the couch abyss. Can Get a Little Toasty: If you're transferring a huge amount of files, you might notice the BAR Plus (the metal one) gets a bit warm. Not dangerously hot, but noticeable. Keyring on the BAR Plus Isn't Perfect: Some folks find the keyring hole on the BAR Plus a little fiddly. Minor gripe. So, Should You Get One? Yeah, they're pretty solid choices. If you want something tiny to plug into your car stereo (or laptop) and pretty much forget about, the Samsung FIT Plus 128GB is a winner. If you want something tougher that you can clip to your keys and feels more substantial, the Samsung BAR Plus 128GB is a good bet. Both will hold a boatload of music for your car, transfer files at decent speeds, and are built to last a bit. Just pick the style that suits you best!
