The Designer Missed Something Critical (otherwise a 5 star)

Ok, I wanted to like this. I love the aesthetic, and the tuner is amazing. HOWEVER, the downfall is that the clock is NOT dimmable. You've got to be kidding me! If you want to use this on a night stand next to your bed, you will have a VERY bright light shinning in your eyes all night. TOTALLY unacceptable considering the marketed quality and price for this. Again, if the light was user dimmable to be very minimal at night, then I would absolutely love this thing. But this is a deal braker for me. My old Bose clock radio tuner finally quit and I was hopeful this would be an equivalent quality replacement. But I cannot sleep with car headlights in my eyes, and I refuse to cover it with a cloth for the price. Honestly, Tivoli, did your designers not even test this next to their pillow? VERY disappointing. I'm frankly shocked!

I truly love this clock radio. I have it set up at my work desk and use the Aux line to play my computer sound over the speaker. This gives me much better audio quality when I'm in Zoom meetings. I love the way it looks, the antenna definitely improves my FM reception over my prior clock radio, and the bluetooth was easy to connect to my phone. The sound quality for the radio, bluetooth, and aux are all very good.The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is that it is hard to read any of the labels on the front control panel or the rear input panel. The labels on my model are gray against a slightly darker gray background. To read the labels I have to pick up the radio and hold it at different angles until the light hits it just right--the paint is a little glossy, so it is a little bit reflective when the light hits it just so. Obviously I don't want to be picking up the radio and moving it all around just to read the labels, so I keep the user manual on my desk and use that to see what each button, knob, or input port is for. This might not be a problem on other colors, but on the wood one with the dark gray panels, it is definitely a problem. I hope Tivoli fixes this on future versions of this device.

Clock is very bright

Radio worked great, but I had to return the unit because there was no dimmer for the clock and it is too bright for use in a dark bedroom.

I live in the bluff lands of the Mississippi River in La Crosse, WI Tuning in Minnesota Public Radio or Wisconsin Public Radio was very difficult even with "rabbit ears" and a signal booster. However, the new Model Three with a built in antenna works BEAUTIFULLY! I'm thrilled!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m happy with the overall quality of the Model Three BT radio.The analog simplicity appeals greatly to me. Sonic Fidelity is quite good. Not fond of the alarm functions. It’s only a 12 hour register and having to manually set off/on is annoying. To R & D for future reference:The brightness of the clock is livable but should have a dimming feature. I see why there are complaints.The radio alarm audio should have a gradual ramp up in volume when it goes off. The alarm set is not accurate. Disappointed.
