Model Three BT Great sound

The design of this clock-radio is excellent, and the sound is wonderful. It's hard to find an analog clock these days. Once you figure out how it works, it's easy to use. My only caveat is that the light in the clock is too bright, and there is no way to adjust or turn it off. If you need it to be dark to sleep, this could be an issue. Not sure why they didn't make that adjustable. At this price, it seems that would be possible. I have to put something in front of the clock to block the light when I sleep. But other than that, it's great.

I am enjoying waking to the beautiful sound of my new clock radio. Simple to operate, elegant in design it is a nice addition to my bedroom. I especially like the option to go to sleep to music, have alarm on but radio automatically off in 20 minutes. Would definitely recommend.

Very nicely finished. Good-looking too. Arrived very promptly. Sound is decent but I expected better. Disappointed that you can't wake up to music, only to the alarm. And the old fashioned mechanical alarm time setter is not quite as accurate as a digital one. It's off by 5 or 10 minutes sometimes. Get used to that before you have to get up on time for an important appointment.

Love it!! perfect for background music in our home. The tuner is awesome, we don't get particularly good reception at our house...this radio gets great reception. We love it

Straight forward design, retro good looks is where functionality meets style. Quality build and great sound. I would definitely recommend this, and would consider purchasing another.

Decent sound, limited functionality

The sound is decent but not great. Purchased to replace my 20 year old Boston Accoustic clock radio and I'd say the Boston has a slight edge on sound. What I really dislike about the Model Three is the alarm functionality and clock. I get it, it's a radio first. But if you're going to include functions, go all the way. The fact that there is a single button that you have to long press to change the clock time is ridiculous. If you mess up and go past the time, you basically have to start all over again! Same goes with the alarm setting. Why would you ever make a clock that can only change time and alarm in a single direction is beyond me. Additionally, the snooze is only a 5 minute snooze with no option to change the snooze duration. And you can only press snooze twice! Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Classic good looks

I think that the clock radio is a great looking piece of furniture. The audio is pretty good and the BT works well as does the tuner. In retrospect I would have bought a different color one. The face place is very difficult to read.

my husband and I needed to replace a clock radio in our bedroom and thought this unit would work. But we both could not see the time in the darkened room. No adjustments can be made, so we returned the unit. Very disappointed.
