Perfect for Graphic Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am graphic designer and wanted to really have a chance to test this monitor out for a few weeks before writing my review. First it is very simple to set up. I have a 2 monitor setup currently and it was quick and easy to set up this monitor. I really like how it is so adjustable in all directions. The color calibration on this monitor is perfect. It makes my work easy for choosing colors for designs. No more guess work or having to print to verify colors. The slim end border makes viewing this monitor a joy. No distracting thick frame around your viewing area. This monitor is extremely vivid and sharp. It truly has improved my efficiency and ability to work in front of it for hours on end.
Pros: Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need extra monitors for work and especially with working from home, I’ve needed to expand my work from home setup. It’s easy to protect the data from prying eyes and easy to see everything I need to see because of the high resolution. It’s easy to assemble and calibrate right out of the box. I have everything I need to work efficiently and effectively.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for the HP z27 but it was discontinued so I bought this instead, works perfect, the factory calibration made the colour great and the stand is a plus, but it doesn't support Mini PC mount kit which is a pity, I like this monitor.

Great monitor, great color and HDMI, USB and USBc inputs are very helpful. My only issue is the HD make customizing font sizes in various programs a real chore. However, that is likely a problem with all HD monitors - worth effort though.

Looking to upgrade to a 4K 27-inch monitor for new 2018 MacMini. The resolution and color right out of the box on the HP Z 27 are outstanding, connected via HDMI. With its variety of ports, you're getting a future-proof monitor. Nice, heavyweight stand, totally adjustable. User controls for onscreen display are intuitive. Front has a think mat-black bezel and rear is mat-black with understated HP and Z27 logos. It's not only a functional but beautiful 4k monitor. Also love HP's three-year warranty.

Okay, the resolution is great just as the NY Times review stated, but it is not compatible with my 2015 MacBook Pro. Each time my laptop goes to sleep for any length of time, I have to redo all my settings. Also, who puts all the ports in the most inconvenient place on the monitor? HP does. I want to send it back but I can't (not HP's fault-you got it, THE VIRUS). I guess I'll keep calling till the return department is open again.
