I bought the Z27 monitor and it's great. I love it. But since I've bought this monitor I have been relentlessly spammed by HP. I've unsubscribed 3 times over the past week and the emails keep coming. Including the email asking for this review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this delivered to my house and the box was a little damaged but once I opened it up, I could tell that the monitor was safely packaged in the box. No issues at all. It was very easy to get out of the box, set up on stand and plug in to my current laptop. It has multiple cord options included, I used the lightening cable since I already have my HDMI port in use. No issues at all. I love having multiple monitors to be able to always display my email, my online meetings and then whatever other application I am working on at the moment
Pros: Lightweight

This is the first large screen display I have purchased, so it is a big jump in performance for me. I have always wanted to have a display that could withstand examination under a magnifier lens. Its not a very scientific test given my aging eyes, but it impresses me. I see detail in movies now that I haven't seen before. Big improvement for me.

Monitor has great picture quality, easy set up out of the box, but the HDMI cable included is of such poor quality (image flickers between laptop and monitor any time I touch the laptop) that I'm taking off a star for that
